How do I connect a MIPI Camera to an NVIDIA Board?

Processor boards for NVIDIA processors are available from numerous embedded manufacturers. Some of these use different MIPI connection options. We offer in-house developed and validated 22/15-pin flex cables that can be used with many common processor boards, as well as individual FPC or coax cables including corresponding adapters.
With the right cable, connection and setup are quick and easy. We provide basic drivers that have already been adapted for many boards. We support you in adapting to new processor boards.

An initial test provides direct information as to whether the image data is recorded correctly and transferred to the processor board. Once this has been verified, you can quickly start developing your application.

How to connect multiple VC MIPI Cameras to the NVIDIA Platforms

With an adapter board from Connect Tech, Auvidea and other third-party providers, several VC MIPI® camera modules can be connected to the NVIDIA platforms at the same time. The corresponding drivers are provided in the source code.

Suitable Accessories for a quick Development Start

VC offers lens holders for standard S-, C- and CS-mount lenses for the cameras, as well as cables, lighting, adapter boards and other accessories. The corresponding driver in source code are available for download. This allows you to quickly and easily create a proof-of-concept or your industrial-grade embedded vision solution with Raspberry Pi and MIPI cameras. The MIPI camera modules are powered directly via the VC MIPI® FPC cable.
